Now the fingerprint reader does not work because I need to activate Windows Biometric Framework. I have Windows 10 on my Motion Computing J3500 tablet. The fingerprint driver wasn't working for my Authen Tec reader. I uninstalled the driver then rebooted. It has a fingerprint reader that I use for a large number of passwords. The actual fingerprint reader uses Validity Fingerprint Sensor Driver. The password database uses HP's SimplePass software. Are there any known compatibility issues with Windows 10 and the fingerprint reader and it's supporting software?

Since there are no drivers for Microsoft Finger print reader for windows 7 I would suggest you to try downloading the Windows XP SP2 drivers or Vista Drivers and try to install in compatibality mode and check if it works fine.
